2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8, 2012 Volkswagen Passat Sedan

Our intrepid spy photographers stumbled upon this innocuous bathtub-white 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 out testing this week. While there are no shots of the new 6.4-liter V8 that will replace the 425 horsepower 6.1-liter mill in this SRT version, but we do have our first look at the upgraded interior that will grace all 2011 Dodge Challengers. This new interior sports a new wheel with a larger Ram face, new steering wheel buttons and a slightly tweaked gauge cluster--not the fully-revamped one we've seen in the 2011 Dodge Charger. At least one thing we loved about the current-gen Challenger remains though.

The southern portion of the U.S. is just teeming with test mules which will wing up being the 2012 Volkswagn Passat. Or the 2012 Volkswagen NMS (New Midsize Sedan Camry / Accord competitor). Whichever. All we know is that we caught the 2012 Volkswagen Passat Wagon earlier in the week, and today we have the 2012 Passat Sedan.
Not much is visually different from previous times we've seen the new Passat. It's still got the strong, square face that VW teased with the NMS and has incorporated on the new Jetta. It's still got a tow hitch -- for caravaners -- and that crazy camo that makes it look like the rear window has louvers.
Whether this is the NMS or an updated Passat, the vehicle is looking sharp and we should see uncovered production versions later this year.
